Hackney carriage vehicle proprietors licence terms and conditions

If you are considered for a hackney carriage vehicle proprietor’s licence, then you must comply with these terms and conditions. Failure to do so will result in the next person on the waiting list being offered the licence:

The vehicle must be zero emission
The vehicle must meet the standards as set out in our current Hackney Carriage & Private Hire Vehicle Policy
You must attach a suitable zero emission vehicle to the licence within 60 days of a licence being allocated
The issued licence must always have a permanent zero emission vehicle attached to it. No other type of vehicle will be accepted, even if it is temporary
Failure to renew the allocated licence as required, will result in the licence being re-issued through this waiting list policy

This application does not guarantee a licence. All valid applications will simply be placed on a waiting list
