Alcohol Entertainment Licence

A Premises Licence is required for individuals or businesses to conduct one or more of these licensable activities:

sale by retail of alcohol
the provision of regulated entertainment
the provision of late night refreshment (hot food and drink sales) between 11pm and 5am

Regulated entertainment includes these activities:

a performance of a play
an exhibition of a film
an indoor sporting event
boxing or wrestling entertainment
a performance of live music
any playing of recorded music
a performance of dance

A licensed premises must have a Designated Premises Supervisor. To apply to become a DPS see Vary Premises Licence for Designated Premises Supervisor (Alcohol).

The Community Safety team do not routinely launch an investigation into every report which is made to them. Each case is assessed and prioritised based on a range of risk factors, so that resources are directly at the highest areas of risk. However, we do monitor all information given to us and use it to inform the wider concerns which may exist.
